Pacific Noise and Vibration (PNV) is a member of the PNV group of companies. The Group comprises PNV, Land Warrior Acoustic Systems Pty Ltd, and Land Warfare Acoustics Systems Inc (USA).
PNV specialises in the development and implementation of acoustics-based capabilities for Defence and non-defence applications, and in the monitoring, analysis, utilisation and remediation of vibration within structures. The PNV workforce comprises approximately 70% engineers and scientists, of whom 40% have PhDs.
PNV’s corporate activities are undertaken primarily from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, and with other representation in Adelaide, South Australia.

PNV is an Associate under the Australian Department of Defence Rapid Prototyping, Development and Evaluation (RPDE) programme - a cooperative venture between the DoD and industry. The Mission of the RPDE Program is ‘To enhance ADF warfighting capacity through accelerated capability change in the Network Centric Warfare (NCW) environment’.
